About Our Adult Education School
Welcome to Coastal Adult School
Coastal Adult School is part of the Fort Bragg Unified School District, serving adult learners in the Fort Bragg community. We believe it's never too late to pursue your education — whether you're working toward a high school diploma, preparing for a career change, pursuing U.S. citizenship, or simply continuing your lifelong journey of learning.
Our mission aligns with FBUSD's commitment to delivering exceptional, engaging, equitable, and collaborative learning opportunities for all students — and at Coastal Adult School, "all students" includes adults at every stage of life.
Our Programs
We offer a range of free programs designed to meet students where they are and help them reach their goals:
High School Diploma
It's not too late to finish what you started. Our High School Diploma program gives adult learners the opportunity to earn a full diploma and open the door to greater personal and professional opportunity.
High School Equivalency (HiSET)
Earn your high school equivalency credential through our HiSET exam preparation classes. Expanding your options has never been more accessible.
U.S. Citizenship
We provide the classes, forms, information, and support to help you on your path to citizenship. Our free citizenship classes prepare students for the naturalization process every step of the way.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Our ESL classes support students in building English language skills for everyday life, work, and civic participation.
